Let me try to explain why Thiago is such an absolute diamond - besides being a top-tier guitarist and songwriter. Many top-flight pros are not great teachers. Thiago, by contrast, is an incredible teacher, who customizes his lessons for his students, and gives incredible insights quickly and easily.

Thiago is an excellent guitarist. It is awesome to learn from someone who plays at the top level and knows the guitar inside and out. After my lesson with him I am inspired and he left me with plenty to work with as well as several new and useful techniques I had never heard of before. I gained more in my hour with him than a month on my own.

I could never tremolo pick. I was learning from another teacher for 1.5 years, and he couldn't teach me to do it. We barely did anything at lessons, and within an hour Thiago got me tremolo picking. I still can't believe I'm doing it.

Thiago is a great instructor - I would give him 6 stars if I could. Thiago has really helped me improve my technique and phrasing. Lessons are always well prepared and cover a combination of past topics and things I'm interested in working on. Each lesson comes with a guitar pro file and backing tracks, so it's easy for me to continue to work on.
