About myself

My musical journey began at eight, and I could play through the Beatles 'Red' album on piano by the time I was 10. When formal exams came along, I found them far too rigid. I was once caught playing entirely by ear during an exam, which taught me early on that true musicianship comes from feel, intuition, and listening, not just reading ink off a page.

As a professional multi-instrumentalist, producer, and recording engineer with decades of industry experience, I offer a relaxed, practical, and bespoke approach to music tuition. I skip the rigid exam route to focus on real music-making, developing your personal sound, and building intuitive skill.

Whether you want to explore piano, Hammond Organ, guitar, or analogue synths, every lesson adapts completely to your goals. From complete beginners to experienced players, I provide a creative, structured environment designed to help you play music with genuine confidence. All ages welcome; sessions are usually one hour long.

I balance favourite tracks with essential skills to keep busy teens engaged through creative challenges. I skip rigid exams entirely, focusing instead on band readiness, live performance, and real musicianship, helping you play with genuine feel, true intuition, and total playing confidence!

Adults

Flexible scheduling fits lessons seamlessly around work and family commitments. Whether starting fresh or returning after years away, lessons adapt to you,building solid foundations or rekindling past skills.
